If your child is already 14, he needs to get a passport. A child under 14 years old can do without this document if it is written into the old-year passport of one of the parents. At the same time, a photograph of the child must be present in the parent passport, certified by the stamp of the passport and visa service. If parents have a new passport, the child will in any case need their own international passport. If the child leaves on his own passport or if his last name differs from the last name of the parents, his birth certificate will be required to confirm the relationship. Previously, it was necessary to draw up the notarized consent of the second parent to export the child abroad. Now this document is needed only when the second parent has already filed a special statement about his disagreement on the departure of the child from Russia.
