Then on the map of the world Kamchatka is located just north of Japan, but south of Alaska. This territory of the Russian Federation resembles a huge fish, which with its tail "attached" to Chukotka, and the main part "looks" at the Japanese islands.

Kamchatka, on the one hand, is washed by the Sea of ​​Okhotsk, and on the other by the Barents Sea and the Pacific Ocean.
